Arrival Tokyo
Arrive Narita/Haneda. Upon arrival, welcome to the guests. Meeting & transfer to hotel by Limousine. Check in to Hotel. Day free at Leisure. Evening we recommend you to enjoy a Western-style dinner while taking in fantastic night views of the Tokyo bay area , including Odaiba, Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower, from atop a ship at the evening Dinner Cruise in Tokyo. Overnight at the Hotel in Tokyo.
Tokyo – City Tour
After late breakfast proceed to half day Tokyo Tour. Tour begins mid-morning with visiting Hamarikyu garden, which is a typical Daimyo (Japanese feudal lord) garden in the Edo period with a tidal pond. After this you will enjoy a thirty minute boat ride to Asakusa on the Sumida River whilst admiring the harmonious blend of old and new Tokyo. After the cruise, you have a chance to see Ninja and Samurai performances at the pier. Then you will see the famous Asakusa Kannon Temple, one of the main cultural landmarks of Tokyo. We will then take you to the Nakamise Shopping Street, where you can walk down the brightly lit street leading to Japan's finest Buddhist temple. Then we will drive through Kappabashi area, where restaurant supplies and wax food samples are sold. Finally, we drive through the well-known shopping districts of Ueno and Akihabara, where the tour ends. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Tokyo
Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone - Onsen Hot Spring
The tour starts with a drive to the scenic countryside of the Mount Fuji.
Arrive to Mount Fuji 5th station. After a Japanese style lunch, you will go to Hakone, one of the most popular excursion spots for hot springs from Tokyo. There you will take a cruise on the Lake Ashi and the Mount Komagatake Ropeway. You will then go to Yomoto Fujiya. Enjoy staying in a traditional Japanese room with Tatami floor and bathing in an open air bath. Overnight in Onsen
Onsen – Back to Tokyo
Day is free to relax. Free until departure. Enjoy yourself with a 2 Days Free Pass which gives you a discount on entrance fees for more than 30 tourist facilities and a free ride on Hakone Mountain Railway, cable cars, and buses in the Hakone area.
Please proceed to Odawara station on your own by local bus or train. (around 20 – 30mins) You will go back to Tokyo by Shinkansen (the bullet train departs at around 5:00-7:00 p.m.). The tour finishes at Tokyo station.
Evening you can prepare yourself for an eclectic evening with a Japanese cabaret show which lasts for an hour at the Robot Restaurant in Tokyo’s Kabukicho red-light district! (Show can be pre-booked with Mercury)
Tokyo - Full day to Kyoto
A full day trip to Kyoto with the High Speed Bullet Train awaits you. Kyoto served as Japan's capital and the emperor's residence from 794 until 1868. It is now the country's seventh largest city. Countless temples, shrines and other historically priceless structures survive in the city today. You visit the Temple famous for its large wooden terrace - Kiyomizudera located in eastern Kyoto proceeding next to Temple building covered in gold - Kinkakuji Temple in the northern part of Kyoto before proceeding to Kyoto's most famous geisha district - Gion District. Another scenic part of Gion is the Shirakawa Area which runs along the Shirakawa Canal parallel to Shijo Avenue. The canal is lined by willow trees, high class restaurants and ochaya, many of which have rooms overlooking the canal. Later you travel back by the Bullet train from Kyoto to Tokyo station. Make your way to the hotel on your own. Overnight in Tokyo
Depart Tokyo
After the breakfast you are transferred to the airport with great memories of your trip.
